Scott E. Shapiro

Before returning to his home state of Washington from New York, Scott was with Related Urban Development (formerly The Palladium Company) and Related Lodging Group, real estate development affiliates of The Related Companies, L.P. Prior to that, Scott co-founded Cityfeet, a leading online commercial real estate network that was sold to LoopNet.

While in business school, Scott was a financial analyst at MAX Capital Management Corporation, handling real estate acquisitions and financings. He was also a summer associate at Paine Webber Real Estate Securities, providing principal lending and investments for opportunity funds and other real estate clients.

Before attending graduate school, Scott worked in Washington, DC, conducting property management and marketing at The JBG Companies, management and strategic consulting with KPMG, and government affairs and policy analysis with Preston Gates Ellis & Rouvelas Meeds. Scott received his BA with honors in government and American studies from Wesleyan University and his MBA in real estate and finance from Columbia Business School where he currently serves as an Executive in Residence.

Natalie Gualy

Since joining Eagle Rock Ventures LLC in 2014, Natalie has managed over a dozen projects ranging from adaptive reuse to ground-up development. She wears many hats and oversees projects during early feasibility, entitlements, construction management, project stabilization, and asset management. 

Prior to joining ERV, Natalie worked for several years in various architecture and urban planning firms in Charleston, SC, Nashville, TN, and Shanghai, China. Her design experience includes multi-family, office space, adaptive reuse, medical office, and tenant build-out. 

She is active in her community and served on the boards as the Vice President of Urban ArtWorks and the Chair of the City of Seattle’s Design Review Board. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. She sits on their national Small Scale Development Council and ULI’s PNW NEXT group.  

Natalie received a Bachelor of arts in Architecture and a minor in Spanish at Clemson University. She was the first student at the University of Washington to graduate with both a Master of architecture and a Master of Science in real estate.
